These are the domains which we usually concentrate on, but not limited to this area.
1) Digital Signal Processing: A signal in this context can mean a number of different things. One of the things that make DSP so interesting is its wide variety of tricks, employed for data processing and conversion.
2) Digital Image Processing: This is a vast area where the logic can be implemented in MATLAB or conventional programming languages. With the advent of modern electronic gadgets such as mobile camera, Camcorder, digital camera etc., it is needless to mention this as a good domain for
choosing projects.
3) Network security: Network Security has become an issue demanding our attention in this decade. Various protocols govern the transfer of data across the networks.
4) Adhoc Network: A wireless ad hoc network is a decentralized wireless network which does not rely on a preexisting infrastructure, such as routers in wired networks or access points in wireless networks. Instead, each node participates in routing by forwarding data for other nodes, and so the determination of which nodes forward data is made dynamically based on the network connectivity.
5) Sensor Network: A wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of spatially distributed autonomous sensors to cooperatively monitor physical or environmental conditions, such as temperature, sound, vibration etc. They are now used in many areas, including industrial process monitoring and control, machine health monitoring, environment and healthcare application, traffic control etc.
6) Bio Informatics: Bioinformatics is the application of statistics and computer science to the field of molecular biology.
7) VLSI: Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating integrated circuits by combining thousands of transistor-based circuits into a single chip. There are several VLSI design software packages used in the market.
8) Data Mining: Data mining is the process of extracting patterns from data. It is commonly used in a wide range of profiling practices, such as marketing, surveillance, fraud detection and scientific discovery.
9) Power Electronics: Power electronics is the application of solid-state electronics for the control and conversion of electric power.
